TOUR DESCRIPTION
The Elephant Nature Park is reached via a scenic journey through the Thai countryside and the MaeTang valley. Expert guides will tell you about the personal stories of the rescued elephants. You'll learn about the issues that elephants face in Southeast Asia, as well as how elephant Nature Park is assisting in the treatment and care of Thailand's declining elephant population. Following the introduction, you will be given food and fruit treats, and you will have the opportunity to feed the elephants from the observation platforms. Following the morning activity is a delicious and varied buffet it will be the elephant's bath time. You'll take a walk with the elephants to the park's river, where you'll see the elephants bathe and play while staying dry on the sand. Before the hour-long trip back to Chiang Mai, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation, say your farewell to the elephants and Elephant Nature Park.
